Teenage cyclist seriously injured by hit and run driver in Chingford

Graham Barnes, of Low Hall Lane, Chingford, saw the emergency services attending to the boy who was hit at the junction between Chingford Mount Road and Hall Lane at 5.50pm. He said: "One of the boy's friends said the driver hit him so hard he went sailing through the air. The boy must have had life-threatening injuries because ambulance crews did not move him for an hour and a half."
