The great ‘road safety’ farce

So. You have a road where numerous motorists drive at reckless and excessive speed and crash with great regularity. So what’s the solution? A speed camera?

No. A crap advisory sign which drivers can speed past without fear of any consequences.

A Transport Scotland spokeswoman confirmed last week that a solar powered vehicle activated sign will be installed on the road within the next few weeks.
