Wooden cycle parking
I'd never encountered wooden cycle parking before. This is on Holkham beach in North Norfolk (it's the wide sandy one that Gwyneth Paltrow walks across at the end of Shakespeare in Love). Apparently wooden cycle parking is designed to blend in with the environment.
However, even this idyllic cycle parking is no exception to the golden rule of British cycling infrastructure - it's always very close to crap.
Bicycles and dog waste only, please.
