Four LBWF scenes

Why not rest and relax on a bench and soak up the ambiance of the London Borough of Waltham Forest? This attractively located bench on Belgrave Foad E17 has a brick and metalwork surround and comes complete with fully bio-degradable litter bin.

Or if it's the sight of passing traffic which interests you, this bench by the Crooked Billet roundabout comes with all the usual local accessories.

After I blogged about this Trade Refuse bin being permanently obstructively positioned by a traffic sign on the pavement on Cairo Road E17 it was moved to the premises where it belongs. It was almost as if someone from the Council had read this blog and an environmental services inspector had been along to have a quite word with the trader. Well if that was what happened those 'words of advice' didn't do the trick, because it's back on a 7-day-a-week basis, blocking the pavement for anyone with a wheelchair or a buggy.

Meanwhile Percy Ingles seem to have been granted a special licence to do whatever they want on the pavement alongside their High Street premises... (Yes, that's Mission Grove primary school in the background. The perfect environment for the Council's 'walk to school' scheme!)
