Memorial to road crash victims
This is the
memorial to people who have lost their lives in road accidents in Merseyside. In the last 10 years 265 people have died in incidents on Liverpool roads alone.
The bronze statue, cast in the shape of a traffic bollard and surrounded by items left at crash scenes, was designed by local sculptor Tom Murphy.
