Planet saved!




















Exciting news. This attractive seating area on Pearl Road, Walthamstow, is at the cutting edge of the Council's climate change strategy. You see the concrete pot on the left (below)? It is one of two pots which have been adopted at the site. As you can see the lush greenery more than makes up for the loss of the Brazilian rain forest and is more than adequate compensation for the Council's promotion of car ownership and use by converting more and more pavements into car parks. Well done Waltham Forest council! The latest issue of the Council's expensive propaganda rag WFM modestly proclaims Waltham Forest's ambition of becoming "the greenest borough in London."
