Unfortunately there was still room for people with double buggies or on mobility scooters to get past this tree on Northcote Road E17, so Clancydocwra were quickly on the scene. This sign also gives useful advance warning to speeding pedestrians to change gear, slow down and take extra care. (Some environmental extremists might argue that signs like this should be placed on the road. But that would obstruct a parking bay, which would be an intolerable imposition on the victimized motorist. A sign like this in the road would also be a dangerous distraction for those hundreds of local drivers who are holding very important conversations on their mobile phones.)
