The Judiciary

HE ploughed head-on into motorcyclist Mark Gibbs when his luxury X-Type Jaguar drifted onto the wrong side of Epping New Road.

He was convicted of causing death by dangerous driving in April 2007.

He was very well connected. He was a chum of Britain’s most senior criminal judge, the Recorder of London Peter Beaumont QC.

And now the Court of Appeal has decided that this killer should be

released after serving just three months behind bars.
