Mountain bike essential

Four out of the borough's ten libraries have no cycle stands. A strange oversight, you might think, from a Council which claims to be one of London's leading cycle-friendly authorities, and which modestly aspires to be the Greenest borough in Greater London. But not to worry. Here are the magnificent cycle stands outside Walthamstow Central Library. As you can see, a mountain bike is essential for negotiating the rough terrain.
