Toyota Land Cruiser kills another pedestrian
It was a Toyota Land Cruiser which killed Finlay Woods.
And now
A 25-YEAR-OLD pedestrian has died after a car accident in Stoke-on-Trent. The incident happened on Hartshill Road, near to the Jolly Potters Inn, in Hartshill, at around 5.45pm yesterday. Police say a woman was in collision with a black Toyota Land Cruiser.
Victim Rashmi Rao, from Stoke, was taken to the University Hospital of North Staffordshire, but died from her injuries earlier this morning.
Someone says in the Comments below the story:
That's an awful bend of road for Pedestrians to navigate because there are so many junctions to watch on a fast busy road, besides two entrances/exits from the always-busy Tesco Express store.
Before Tesco Express opened, I'm aware of a neighbour who petitioned for another pedestrian crossing to be installed by the garage, next to the steps leading down to Hartshill Park, but nothing ever came of it.
