Police will not file any charges against the driver who struck a 46-year-old man while he was walking with his English bulldog on Broad Street last month, police said.
Kris Godlewski was crossing Broad Street approximately 45 feet east of the crosswalk at Hemingway Street, an area that is not well lit, police said. Both Godlewski and a friend walking with him were wearing dark clothing, police said.
Godlewski was issued a verbal warning for reckless use of the highway by a pedestrian.
