Crap walking in Waltham Forest

Pavements are for clutter. Street furniture. Plus legalised pavement parking. Obviously we have to let cars park on the pavement here because it's a bend, and if cars parked entirely in the road it would slow traffic down. You know, to the speed limit.

Shernhall Street E17. A crap street for cycling on or for walking on. Along its entire length it has those crappy rubber speed cushions, which fail to slow traffic and encourage drivers to swerve round them. Laughably, Shernhall Street is supposed to be a 20 mph zone. And drivers are encouraged to park on the pavement.

If you want to know why walking is in decline in London and why cycling is going nowhere look no further than Shernhall Street.
