Tipper truck driver kills elderly pedestrian

At approximately 9.15am on Friday 31 July, an 89-year-old male pedestrian was involved in a collision with a tipper lorry.

The pedestrian was taken to the James Paget Hospital but sadly later died. He was Henry Edward Springall of Humberstone Road, Gorleston.

The driver of the lorry was uninjured.
