Crap policing in Tunbridge Wells

Policing culture is obsessed with ‘car crime’ (i.e. theft from or of cars) and indifferent to enforcing laws designed to protect the interests and safety of pedestrians, cyclists and public transport users.

No police officer in Britain will ever be ordered to ‘look out for vehicles in the Advanced Stop Line’. But cops fret themselves sick about drivers who leave valuables on display in parked cars. Here’s the latest absurd example of crap policing:

Officers were instructed to look out for cars which have sat navs left on the dashboard as well as other items such as iPods, which are often left in their cradles attached to the cigarette lighter.
