Wet, wet, wet

The council changed most of its pavements from flagstones to tarmac. But whereas rain drains away on flagstones, on tarmac it doesn't. (I won't say which street this is, because I know the council's preferred solution would involve a chainsaw.) And rain followed by sub-zero temperatures means ice.
