Havant Road E17. The borough's highway engineers built out the pavement but didn't make provision for dropped kerbs. Which is stupid. This council smugly proclaims that it is "positive about disabled people" but it's just froth. The council is profoundly hostile to wheelchair use in its local streets.
The really smart thing to have done, of course, would have been to install a speed table, which would not only have slowed down the traffic but also allowed pedestrians to cross from one side of the road to the other on the samel level.
