Take care!





















Hoe Street, at the closed-off junction with Cairo Road E17. This utility cover in the cycle lane poses a hazard and it's not the first time it's been in this condition.

I said 'closed off' junction, but the council still hasn't plugged the gap which is regularly used by 4X4 drivers to avoid the closure. Two years after it was drawn to the council's attention it has got round to painting a white line round the base of the missing bollard, so that represents progress of a sort, I suppose.





















Cyclists can avoid the hazardous cover by turning left into a cycle lane that provides access to Cairo Road. But then...
