Two cyclists killed by lorries in the past 24 hours

A cyclist has died following a collision with a lorry in Birmingham this afternoon.

West Midlands Ambulance Service was called to Station Road, near to the swimming baths, in Stechford at around 2.30pm yesterday afternoon (Thursday) and an ambulance was sent to the scene.

and

A MARGATE man has died after he was knocked off his bike by a lorry in Margate last night.

Elsewhere

A CYCLIST was taken to hospital in Aberdeen this afternoon after being knocked down by a car.

and in Barnsley

A CYCLIST was taken to hospital after being knocked off his bike by a car which then failed to stop.

The 40-year-old was on his bicycle on Doncaster Road, at the junction with Nanny Marr Roar at Darfield, Barnsley, at about 6.50am on Tuesday, when he was hit by a red vehicle, possibly a Peugeot 206.
