If I’d spotted this in Cheltenham I’d be inclined to think I’d finally found John Franklin’s secretly preferred mode of transport… But it was parked on a residential street in Norwich.
The Guru’s website is currently blank apart from contact details and he last tweeted in June. But then Norwich is a challenging city for bicycle repair man, since so few people cycle there.
I suppose one or two peevish fundamentalists might ask why bicycle repair man isn’t using a cargo bike or riding a bike with a trailer. That conundrum is easily answered. It’s much easier and more efficient to get around Norwich in a motor vehicle than it is by cycling. Cycling in Norwich is frightening, inconvenient, dangerous and unattractive.
