Making waves

Who can deny that this Council really splashes out on cycling? These photographs illustrate the top class facilities on the shared use section between Argall Avenue and South Access Road E17, a strategic cycle route between this Borough and Hackney.

When temperatures drop below zero after rainfall, cyclists might find themselves in difficulty at this point, especially at night. (Notice the cycle lane sign elegantly reflected in the water. This blog occasionally strives for interesting artistic effects.)

The third photograph shows rubbish strewn across the footway by the drop kerb on the South Access Road side of this superb shared use facility.
