New council symbol put on display
Exclusive: the council intends to replace its tree logo with this exciting new symbol, 'the chair with no seat beside the pillar box defaced by graffiti, surrounded by litter'.
"We felt it was time for a change," says council leader Clyde Loakes. "Having invited entries from local artists we decided this was the clear winner, symbolising the collapse of the infrastructure, the lack of support for the William Morris Gallery, and the pointless wait for replies to complaints to the council, about services which no longer function properly." The winning entry is on display on Collingwood Road E17.
