In the foreground is one of the Council's many 'assisted suicide schemes' for cyclists. Here, cyclists who use the off-road cycle lane emerge without warning from behind a fence on to an A road full of speeding drivers. And there's only a single yellow line at the drop kerb lane entry point because, as everybody knows, nobody cycles before 8.30 am, after 6.30 pm, or on Sundays.
