1.27 million people violently killed

A news story which is not making any headlines:

Traffic accidents kill an estimated 1.27 million people a year globally, and nearly half of the victims are pedestrians, cyclists, and motorcyclists, according to a new report by the World Health Organization.

Road-traffic accidents are the leading cause of death for people ages 10 to 24,
and the 10th leading cause of death in the world, after heart disease, lower respiratory infections, HIV/AIDS and other conditions, according to the WHO.
They also cause as many as 50 million nonfatal injuries a year, according to the report.

Terrorists are pathetic under-achievers, compared to drivers, are they not?
