A CYCLIST who was knocked off her bike by a car has spoken of her anger after the driver zoomed off.
Elizabeth Holloway was crossing Princess Elizabeth Way when a white car hit her, causing her to lose her balance and tumble off. With a grazed arm and concussion, she slumped by the roadside and watched as the driver got out, looked at her, got back in again and drove away.
The 29-year-old waitress, from Swindon Village, said: "I was sat on the verge of the road. I was in shock.
She said: "He must have come through a red light as it was green for me. It's a really bad junction
The good news for the unidentified driver is that he now has an ally in the ConDem government, which is working hard to get rid of all speeding and red light enforcement.
