A route for a cycle path in Chingford

‘No cycling’ it says on this path which cuts across from The Green to Station Road, Chingford.

It would be very easy to construct a parallel cycle path here, on the Dutch model. But since no one involved in cycling in London has a clue how to bring about mass cycling, this won’t happen.

Instead cyclists are supposed to go the long way round with motor vehicles, using an inadequate narrow cycle lane and having to wait to turn left at the lights at the junction. There’s an Advanced Stop Line but needless to say it’s usually obstructed.
