The situation here replicates that in numerous other sites across Greater London and is a common source of complaint from cycling bloggers. The cycle lane on a fast moving A road terminates abruptly in a parking bay. The parked car is legally parked. A cyclist is forced out into the middle of the road and has to hope that the traffic behind will brake and not kill her.
