Between 10 am and 4 pm on a Tuesday there should be no vehicles whatsoever in the Walthamstow High Street pedestrian zone. So this lorry should not have been here (yesterday). Rymans also have delivery access from a road at the rear of the shop. The driver presumably found it more convenient to go to the front of the shop.
What's more the High Street is a one-way street and this HGV is facing in the wrong direction. Would the driver see a small child standing directly in front of his vehicle? Probably not. But the CCTV on the stalk in the background is facing in the wrong direction, so I expect the driver got away with his two traffic offences.
