Warehouse collides with lorry

A couple and their baby narrowly escaped with their lives after a lorry ploughed through a warehouse adjoining their home in the middle of the night, missing their bedroom by feet.

The white Scania lorry hit the workshop after it drifted across a roundabout while travelling towards Carlisle from the M6 motorway.

'Cars have crashed into the house before. If you look at the outside of our house, you can see that the front window has been replaced with bricks.
