Newcastle police

A policewoman has been disciplined for allegedly referring to a teenage girl who was killed in a road accident as a 'scumbag'.

Hayley Adamson was hit by a police car which had been travelling at more than 90mph in a 30mph zone in Newcastle.

The force were also criticised in March this year after they put themselves forward for a public relations award over their handling of the media coverage of the case.

Curiously although the police car driven by the killer cop had a black box data recorder this mysteriously turned out to be blank.

But not to worry, these have a back-up memory system.

Sadly, this turned out to be blank too!

It was thought this was due to an electrical fault.

Yeah, right...
