It’s the right to ride!

Police were last night hunting a cyclist – spotted riding along the busy M62 motorway, feet from 70mph cars and lorries.

Incredibly, the cyclist managed to get off the motorway without injury, at the Junction 25 westbound interchange at Clifton, Brighouse.

Police traffic patrols dispatched to the scene after calls from motorists
failed to find the cyclist.

How many of these 'calls from motorists' were made on handheld mobile phones, I wonder?

And were those 'cars and lorries' really all obeying the speed limit? If so, then the M62 must be totally unique among British motorways.
