Esom's empire (2)

Why bother to use the side entrance in the street when you can drive into a pedestrian area, right up to the front of Walthamstow library? Sensitive parking from a Council employee.

And according to the latest issue of wfm, the bike recycling scheme is desperate for old bikes. So why don't they take this abandoned frame which has been here for months?

And look in the other direction. Market traders continue to use the cycle stands as a great place to stack their frames, pallets and miscellaneous rubbish. This crap Council has been turning a blind eye for months. And this is the iconic Town Square! Says everything, doesn't it?

At the junction of Forest Road and Wood Street, why not relax on this metal bench and inhale the traffic fumes in this attractive concrete-brutalist setting by the library. Judging by the heap of refuse underneath it's the perfect place to celebrate the Year of the Rat. A case of 'out of sight is out of mind', eh? Just a short walk from the Town Hall!
