The model for future cycle lanes in Waltham Forest

This is the model for future cycle lanes in the London Borough of Waltham Forest. Having got away with "improving" this stretch of road (A503) by moving the cycle lane out on a bend in order to create parking bays, the borough's car-centric transport planners are going to extend this design on both Wood Street E17 and Forest Road (A503) east of Hale End Road leading towards the A104. This is being done with the full co-operation of Transport for London.

You think there's going to be a surge in cycling in outer London? On infrastructure like this?
