Cycling and existentialism
As you pedal down life’s highway, always remember you have a choice.
Here, you can continue along this attractive family-friendly cycle lane on the high-traffic-volume bus-and-lorry-crammed A112 heading for central Walthamstow and Chingford or you can peel off left at the junction and follow that blue sign which guides you to ‘Leyton (quiet route)’.
I’m a bit puzzled as to why anyone would want to take that route to Leyton, since you have to be coming from Leyton to see it. But then London cycle signing always involves metaphysics, teasing absences and hilarious jests.
