Cyclist not visible in daylight

Tomas Edwards, aged 33, of Charlton Cottages, Hartlebury, was driving along Worcester Road in Droitwich when he struck the cyclist at around 10am on August 5.

Edwards, who pleaded guilty to driving without due care and attention, said: “The man was on a black bike and was wearing black clothing - he wasn’t wearing anything which was high visibility.

“I just didn’t see him, he blended into the landscape with what he was wearing.”
