Cyclist, lorry, junction
A cycle lane leading to an Advanced Stop Line – road conditions which meet the London Cycling Campaign’s laughably impoverished vision of good cycling infrastructure. But with a bit of encouragement you, too, can join in the fun here at Russell Square, site of at least one lorry/cycling fatality in recent years.
Worried about sharing the roads with lorry drivers? There’s a petition which accepts existing road conditions but tries to make them nicer by demanding on-bike cycle-awareness training for all council HGV drivers and sub-contractors
It doesn’t have to be like this.
