Cyclophobia

Adrian Scarlett, 39, was cycling along Allerton Road, Allerton, when two men in a car pulled to the side and waited for him to go past.

Fearing they were going to do something he gave them a wide berth but they drove after him until the car was alongside so the passenger could give him a shove.
The impact knocked Mr Scarlett, head of religious studies at St Peter and Paul Catholic College in Widnes, from his bike.
