Limo dependency at Westminster

Parking spaces for bicycles in the Palace of Westminster have been removed to make way for ministerial cars, the Commons was told.

Labour's Rob Marris vented his anger over the change, which has seen the spaces lost in Star Chamber Court, next to the MPs' cloakroom.

He bemoaned what he called the "do as I say not as I do approach"
and highlighted the practice of ministerial chauffeurs leaving their engines running for hours while they wait for their passengers.

It’s quite interesting that this Press Association press release has been shunned by every news agency in Britain, is it not?

I wonder if one of those ministerial limos belongs to Ed Miliband

who has previously called for a Make Poverty History-style mass public campaign to pressure politicians into cutting emissions.
